He earned a Bachelor of Science from The United States Military Academy at West Point in 1969. He later served in the Infantry with the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, NC and the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam as a combat infantry platoon leader, resigning in 1974 as a Captain. ​In 1976 he earned a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University with an emphasis in finance and operations research. During his graduate studies he worked extensively with computer modeling and mathematical simulation.

Mr. Setzer is Chairman of the Board of Directors for Dexter Apache Holdings Inc, and Copperhead Digital Holdings, Inc. He also served as a Director of The Hannah Neil Foundation, The World of Children Inc., 7Signal Systems Inc. and Amerilink Corporation. ​

Update: Bob is fully enjoying retirement, spending most of his days travelling with his wife Gayle, golfing, or serving in his favorite role of “Papa”. Of course, he continues to pop in the office and loves to support our team as we expand into Government Contract Finance.
